Which have you read?
Came across this through Jamie’s blog. Apparently a US organisation has come up with a list of that nation’s top 100 books, although it estimates that on average most adults have only read 6 on the list. I find that last bit unlikely - there are loads of children’s classics there too, so a child could easily log up 6 through their school years and fan club myspace http://bringonthejoy.wordpress.com/2008/07/16/which-have-you-read/

New Classics Challenge
Joanna at Lost in a Good Story is hosting a challenge based on Entertainment Weekly's list of new classics. Since several of these books are on my TBR list, I've decided to sign up. The challenge is to read 6 books that I haven't yet read from the list between 8/1/08 and 1/31/09. Here's the list (I've bolded the books I've already read and myspace blog http://passionforthepage.blogspot.com/2008/07/new-classics-challenge.html

The New Classics: Books
I have a slight affinity for reading and dig a decent list. Recently, Entertainment Weekly listed the top 100 books of the last 25 years. They dubbed them the new classics. As much as I read I’m a little surprised that I have only read 22 of them. I’ve placed in bold the ones that I have finished. A Book Meme
I stole this from my sister, whose blog I read when I have nothing better to do. I secretly read my siblings’ blogs whenever I’m bored. I actually have my two assignments to work on, but… The flesh is weak, very weak. Or is it due to the dieting? I’ve only consumed a cup of cereal drink, some bad-tasting bubble tea, and awards hair style http://whaleatape.wordpress.com/2008/07/17/a-book-meme/

I saw this on Nick Daw’s blog. I’ve not time to tag, as I’m off to work, but if you’re reading this, consider yourself tagged for this meme. The list differs somewhat from the UK Big Read list and bag bags http://scrapability.squarespace.com/scrap-rants/2008/7/16/how-well-read-am-i.htm...
